Stories Can Live Far Beyond the Page

Randa’s cultural work moves across literature, music, exhibitions, public dialogue and community-building, creating spaces where stories can be experienced, shared and carried into new forms.

FEATURED PROJECT

Voices of Amal

A choral work inspired by stories from Women of Gaza, transformed into three original compositions by Finnish composer Anna-Mari Kähärä.Performed by approximately sixty singers from Finnish women’s choirs at Musiikkitalo, Helsinki, for International Women’s Day 2026, the project carried stories from the book beyond the page and into collective voice and music.

CULTURAL PROJECT

The Real Gaza

A multidisciplinary exhibition and cultural project created with Finnish artist Teemu Mäki, bringing together art, lived experience and Palestinian voices to encounter Gaza beyond conventional media representations.Through different artistic forms, the project creates space for stories, memory and everyday life that are often absent from dominant narratives about Gaza.

COMMUNITY & READING PROJECT

One of Randa’s earliest cultural projects, founded in Gaza as a space where young people could meet through books, reading and conversation. The project brought together more than 300 young women and men, turning reading into a shared cultural and social experience and creating space for dialogue, curiosity and critical thought.
